Information about najran museum
Najran Museum was established in 1403 AH and opened in 1416 AH. It is located next to the Al Okhdood site in old Najran, and the aim of its establishment was to spread culture and awareness. It contains artifacts from all of Najran, especially the site of Al Okhdood, and there are also exhibits illustrating the history and civilization of Najran in all ages. The museum consists of several departments such as surveying and painting department, photography studio, artifacts restoration lab, antiquities repository, cinema gallery, and museum exhibition hall. It consists of a prehistoric wing, a pre-Islamic wing, and The Islamic period wing, and the Kingdom unification wing.
