Locals prefer to visit this seasonal river in the spring when the floods that begin in winter stop, when the flowing water is still strong, and the surrounding areas are green and filled with ripe trees and flowers of various colors. There are several natural water pools formed by the river, and in these pools it is possible to swim and practice many water activities. There are also many trails along Al Nahd that people of all ages can take part in.
