One of the public institutes established by the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and it includes the main building, warehouses, and many other facilities, including: the Jewish Museum, the Sarajevo Museum and others. Through it, a group of antiques and artifacts are displayed that tell stories about the city's past through different eras, from the Middle Ages to the Ottoman period until the present time. This museum aims to contribute to the cultural and tourism enrichment of the city of Sarajevo.
