The Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Monument is in the center of the main square of Alanya. It shows the statue of the founder Ataturk raising the peace sign after the huge amount of achievements he made to the state. Behind him is a young man and woman raising the Turkish flag. The monument is one of the most important tourist attractions of the city, and a public park was built on its sides, which families and visitors frequent.
