The Museum of St. Blais traces the origins of the former monastery from the secluded Sella Alba to the most important Benedictine monastery in the Black Forest. The museum shows the history of the cathedral's construction, the abolition of the monastery during secularization, and subsequent use as a factory (eg for textiles and firearms), and the museum also provides information on the scenery. The wonderful natural and geology around St. Blais, and some information also about the art and culture of the area. For example, works of local painters and some original paintings can be seen here.
