The Landing Museum and Salerno Capital were opened in 2012 AD, with the aim of commemorating the avalanche process and the events that devastated the coasts of the city of Salerno in 1943. About 1,000 ships with more than 200,000 soldiers docked on the coast of the city to participate in the large amphibious operation and the Allied invasion of Italy, which is Home to both Nazi and American Army uniforms, weapons, bombs, medals, and more.
