The Museum of Popular Art of Yucatan, located in a building from the 20th century AD, aims to promote knowledge of craft culture and preserve the cultural heritage of the region. It includes a collection of collectibles that explain how locals embroider the traditional colored jackets and textiles known as "huipiles", as well as showcasing the traditional techniques used in making ceramics and others.
