The Museum of Islamic Art is one of the largest museums that celebrates Islamic arts collected throughout the different eras, not only from Egypt but from different countries of the world. The museum includes holdings of up to 100,000 masterpieces collected over the 12 Hijri centuries, including a group of ancient Islamic books, manuscripts, household tools, carpets, glass pieces and ceramics. The left halls display pieces of Islamic art from outside Egypt.
