The Solomos Museum and the Prominent Persons of Zakynthos are famous for their manuscripts and personal belongings of the two important national symbols of Greece, Dionysios Solomos and Andreas Kalvos. The museum's collection includes a number of handicrafts, paintings from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, ancient musical instruments, sculptures and pottery, clothing and weapons belonging to the noble families of Zakynthos, folklore pieces, and some artifacts.
