The Taruna Heroes Cemetery Museum is located near the city center in Tangerang, and includes a number of tombs belonging to officers and soldiers from the Tangerang Military Academy. The place was converted into a museum in their honor after the Ling Kong incident that Indonesian forces fought against Japanese forces during World War II in 1945 In addition to the tombs, the museum includes a collection of photographs of the soldiers who died in the battle, in addition to some of their belongings.
