Information about Five Continents Museum
This large museum was the first museum dedicated to the human race and its historical origins in Germany. Today, the museum houses a collection of more than 200,000 objects over a large area of 4,500 square metres, featuring the world's oldest kayaks (a type of small, single-passenger boat powered by a two-wheeled paddle) and a large collection of Buddhist statues. To make it easier to navigate inside the museum, it is divided by geography, and even music for each area plays softly in the background. Sections of Asia are especially popular with visitors. Tickets cost 5 euros, and on Sundays they cost 1 euros. Children under 15 years old can visit the site for free.
