It is a museum about the history of psychiatry that was established in 1986, in the place of a previous building that was working to care for patients with mental illness, and the reason for its establishment was that there was a great lack of access to knowledge and information related to mental health care in general and psychiatry in particular Specifically, the place displays the history of psychiatry and an art collection showing the first mental shelter established in Belgium. There is a floor in the place that contains old psychology equipment, which is still well preserved and useful for learning, and this experience of the place is a very unusual museum experience.
