The Catalan History Museum was opened in 1996 by the government and is located in the Magatzems Generals de Comerç. It is the only preserved building in the old industrial port area of Barcelona. It features contemporary architecture and the most distinctive feature of the building is its balcony, where you can enjoy an amazing view of Barcelona. In the Museum of the History of Catalonia, you will find exhibits and interactive scenes that allow you to see how men and women in the past lived, thought and felt.
