Information about Museo Xul Solar
Is an institution dedicated to preserving the works of the artist Xul Solar, born in 1887 and died in 1963, the museum is dedicated to his work carried out over five decades. The study of astrology, philosophy, religions and beliefs of the ancient East, India, and the pre-Columbian world along with philosophy, anthropology, among many other fields of knowledge, and this is abundantly evident in the pieces of art he created. Himself, these works constitute the museum's permanent exhibition, along with objects, statues, and documents relating to his personal life. In addition, the Foundation still maintains the artist's personal residence, including his library, which contains about 3,500 volumes.
