A unique museum in Lugano that explains and presents aspects of traditional rural life throughout the remote Muggio Valley between Lakes Lugano and Como. It is a vast museum with outdoor and indoor courtyards, and the inner squares are filled with wonderful exhibits, and handicrafts, while the outer squares have a water-powered mill, tools for cheese makers, an antique laundry, a drying shed for chestnuts, and other amazing exhibits.
