In 1895, the famous Argentine painter, Eduard Chiavino, opened the Museum of Fine Arts. The museum was moved more than once until it settled in its current location in 1933. The museum contains more than 600 paintings and Venezuelan artwork, in addition to other Argentine works. It is also distinguished by the fact that it contains 150,000 historical volumes, and masterpieces of ancient Egyptian Pharaonic art are also added to this large encyclopedia.
