The Faro Municipal Museum is a historical museum established in 1894 in the Algarve region, and its archaeological collection includes the Roman Paths exhibition in which the Roman period in the Algarve is represented, starting with the southwestern (Iron Age) writing through Latin inscriptions and ocean room mosaics, while the Islamic room displays A collection of collectibles from the daily lives of Muslims, and visitors can also see two other permanent exhibitions of ancient painting (16th to 19th centuries).
