On the Mount Robert Trail, you'll find excellent views of the Gastino Channel, Juneau and Douglas, and there are many badgers and diverse birds on this trail, as well as bears. The track is approximately 4.5 miles long by about 4,000 feet; Scenic views start at 2,000 feet, and you don't have to finish it all back and forth, there's a cable car station at the top that you can use to get back to the starting point.
