The origin of the name Mount Halimoun goes back to the Sundanese language, and this word means "fog", because the highest part of the mountain, which is located in the northern region and reaches a height of about 1929 meters, is always covered with fog. There is a park called "Mount Halimoun Salak National Park" Covering an area of 400 square kilometers of rainforest, it offers stunning views of the surrounding green areas, and is home to a large number of endangered West Java animals.
