It is a mosque that was converted into a church in 1868, but despite that, it retained its original features, including the green dome, the various inscriptions and writings on its walls, and even the Qur’anic verses and Islamic decorations. As for the construction method, it is designed mainly in the Ottoman architectural style, which is characterized by colorful inscriptions interspersed with various inscriptions in floral Kufic script, and its walls are covered from below with white and colored marble.
