The Zambil Monument is a monument commemorating one of the most important poets in the history of Kazakhstan, the popular poet Akin Zambil Zabayev. It was erected on the 150th anniversary of his birth, in the square of the Central Complex in the city of Almaty. The monument shows the poet seated with an ancient musical instrument called Dombra, to embody the poet's creative mood and inspiration.
