The Monument of Courage is a magnificent monument unveiled in 1970. The monument was built to commemorate the bravery of the men and women who reconstructed their city, which was destroyed after the 1966 earthquake. The monument consists of a stone cube displaying the time of the first quake (5:22 am), and a statue of an Uzbek man protecting A woman and her child from the openness of the land in front of them, and the monument is surrounded by wonderful inscriptions depicting the period of reconstruction.
