Monkey Bay is a popular destination on Phi Phi Island. It is a small bay somewhat similar to Monkey Beach, except that it is thicker and yellower than it. The amazing coral reefs are located about 50 meters from the shore, providing irreplaceable opportunities for diving. The Gulf is a colony of crab-eating macaques, hence the name, and you should beware of the behavior of these wild animals and avoid getting too close to them when visiting the Gulf.
