The Flemish Gothic Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes has origins dating back to the 15th century AD. It comprises a group of ornate cloisters spread over two levels, and is distinguished by a harmonious blend of Late Gothic (garnished) architecture on the lower level and Mudéjar architecture on the upper floor, with its magnificent statues and elaborate arches and peaks.
