It is a convent for nuns (female monastery) and dates back to the eighteenth century. It is located on a hill near the town of Ano Mera in one of the greenest areas of Mykonos. It has a particularly interesting architecture and from the inside it is decorated with cool icons. The 3-meter-high granite slab that protrudes from the ground next to the monastery is believed to be an ancient symbol of worship.
