The Mission Dolores Basilica is an additional church built next to the old Mission Dolores Church and completed in 1918; Visitors can visit it, learn about its history, contemplate its designs, and see a statue of the founder of the mission, Father Junipero Serra; It is worth noting that there is a historical cemetery in addition to beautiful gardens. The gardens have been planted with indigenous plants from the early mission period.
