The Museum of Minerals, located in a huge building from the nineteenth century AD, was opened in 1983, and consists of two sections and displays a collection of 450 diverse specimens, most of which were donated by members of the Aronis Historical and Archaeological Mineral Group (GASMA), and the first section included (educational section) Three-dimensional crystalline minerals and an explanation of how they were formed due to volcanic, sedimentary and metamorphic geological phenomena. The second section contains minerals of wide aesthetic value and fossils.
