One of the most beautiful and distinctive archaeological sites in the city of Turda, which must be visited, and this church is one of the oldest churches in Romania, as it was built in 1591 AD. It is surrounded by castle-style stone walls. The monastery buildings served multiple purposes over time such as the residence of the country's leaders, the military hospital, the medical school, and the site of the National Archives of Romania. Inside the courtyard is an archaeological site more than 3000 years old. Ancient pottery and other relics were also found, and it is now one of the most prominent monuments in all of Romania.
