St. Michael's Bastion is the city's main fortress, restored from European Union funds, and now one of the city's major landmarks, attracting large numbers of local and tourist visitors. From the top of this fort, visitors can enjoy an exceptional view of the city and the picturesque coast, especially the sunset hours, as well as the ruins and historical and archaeological sites in the city. This fort also includes a large open theater used to hold exceptional concerts and musical performances in the open air.
