Information about Mewia Lacha
Overlooking the Polish Baltic Sea, Miuvia Lacha Nature Reserve is one of the most beautiful natural areas in Gdansk. This reserve is considered the only place where the Baltic seals live, and it was established in 1991 in order to protect the colonies of terns, pigs and spiral birds. This reserve is home to nearly 300 species of plants and about 120 species of migratory birds, in addition to being a haven for the largest concentration of young seagulls in Europe.
