Mevlevi Mosque is the oldest in Afyon state, in 2014 it became 800 years old! The mosque was founded in 1214 by a group of dervishes that were wandering throughout Anatolia. Dervishes are a group that adopts mysticism and asceticism in their way of life, and one of their distinguishing features is their lack of ownership. The building of the mosque is very attractive with its circular blue domes in the shape of a triangle and a tall minaret.
