Malika Palace, also known as At Melchit, is located on the eastern side of the M'zab Valley, and is a symbol of brotherhood and coexistence. The palace is the shrines of Sheikh Sidi Issa and his family. In front of these shrines there is a large prayer hall, which is an open space used for funeral prayers and for recounting local historical facts in order to ensure the continuity of customs, traditions and collective memory.
