Meru Island, or as it is also called Merovinfushi Island, is an island located in the eastern region of Kafue District. The island is characterized by its natural geographical composition, as it includes coral peaks emerging from the depths of the ocean, and includes live and dead coral reefs, and there are thousands of huge evergreen trees that spread over all areas of the island to form an integrated landscape. There are also wooden huts and tourist resorts with luxurious and distinctive services.
