A famous monument in the city of Cluj-Napoca and a prominent tourist attraction in it, this monument was erected by the famous sculptor János Fadrusz in 1902, and represents Matthias Corvinus or as he is called "Mattias I", who was the king of Hungary and Croatia Between 1458 and 1490. This statue is included in the National Register of Historic Monuments in Romania. The statue is also located in a wide square, which is one of the most famous and lively squares in Romania, surrounded by many shops, restaurants and commercial markets.
