This church dates back to 1914, and was designed in the Scandinavian Romantic style, by Sigfrid Ericson, who also designed the Art Museum in Gothenburg. It contains a tower that rises to a distance of 60 meters. The building of this church is truly stunning, but what really gives the church its strength is its position on top of Masthugg hill. The church is a landmark in every sense of the word, and has become an emblem of the city.
