Information about Massandra Palace
Masandra Palace occupies a privileged strategic location on the southern coast of Crimea near the city of Alushta. It was the palace dedicated to Emperor Alexander III of Russia in Masandra, and was included among the imperial residences in the nineteenth century. The palace is characterized by its magnificent design influenced by French architecture, as it was designed by the French architect Etienne Bouchard. Masandra Palace was used as one of the Ukrainian official residences in 1993. It is worth noting that the palace houses a bust of Alexander III in the outer garden that was added in 2017.
