The huge Masoala Hall, which covers an area of approximately one hectare, is part of the Zurich Zoo. It was established with the aim of recreating an environment similar to the island of Masoala, located in the northern part of Madagascar. The island is famous for its unique and diverse fauna and flora. This industrial tropical hall houses more than 300 animals from Madagascar, including red lemurs, flying foxes, reptiles and parrots. The hall also includes hundreds of species of wonderful tropical plants.
