Masingeni Natural Forest is an amazing area in Zanzibar known for its rare trees and animals, which the city's municipality has listed among the state's protected land. The forests cover an area of 556 hectares, or 1374 acres. In these forests there are also a large number of water ponds, and wonderful paths that can be shared with friends and families, and there are wooden-roofed huts that can be rented and spend a night in the lap of nature.
