This magnificent palace was built in the 1830s by a wealthy Bengali merchant, and his family still owns this palace, and they live in part of it, but they opened a large part of it for visits. Inside the palace, there are wonderful artworks collected by this merchant during his travels around the world. Among the exhibits, you will find many paintings, some statues, and many embroideries, and there are many wonderful archaeological books in different languages in the museum. You will be accompanied in the museum by a guide who will explain to you about all the pieces in detail. This museum also distinguishes that admission to it is free.
