Manor Banyamun is a hunting palace built in the second half of the eighteenth century for King Stanisława Augusta Poniatowskiego. The palace was distinguished by its architectural design that differs from the rest of the palaces that were built in that period, where the vaults with geometric decorations and huge columns with ornate heads. The palace has a vast garden extending on the bank of the Nemunas River, where huge trees grew on its sides, such as linden, maple, beech, white trees, Vistula poplar and a number of evergreen coniferous trees.
