One of the oldest active theaters in Europe, dating back to 1731. Located in Valletta, the theater is considered the country's national theater and home to the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. It was called the Manuel Theater in 1866. The theater is a small, 623-seat venue, with an oval auditorium, three tiers of wood benches decorated with gold leaf, and a blue ornate ceiling resembling a round dome. The building is a Grade A listed building. He is also referred to in the Supervision of Cultural Heritage in Malta.
