Information about Manavgat City Museum
The Manavgat City Museum was opened in 2008 under the Rauf Denktash Bridge. It was designed on an area of 1,200 square meters, and aims to revive the past and transfer values from Manavgat’s rooted history to the new generation. It includes 6 sections of exhibitions, administrative offices, a permanent exhibition hall, and exhibition halls. A temporary space and a café, and the exhibition space includes a group of sculptures that reflect the lifestyle of the Bedouins from the Manavgat region, their customs, traditions and culture, represented by their clothes, tents, textiles, handicrafts, simple and complex tools, and others.
