Relive the history of flights in Malta at the Malta Aviation Museum. Created and maintained by dedicated volunteers, this unique site provides a glimpse into Malta's rich heritage and history. The museum is located on the grounds of the former Royal Air Force Airport and is spread over three spaces housing more than 20 expertly reconstructed aircraft, as well as an impressive collection of engines and other airport equipment, and a number of other aircraft are currently being restored. Visitors here enjoy a permanent exhibition by the award-winning Maltese Society of Scale Designers that puts them in the historical context of the museum's pieces.
