The Macanaz Garden is an important orchard in Zaragoza, located on the banks of the river, accessible by an old pedestrian bridge that operated until 1965, and the Sincomerzada festival was celebrated there, and in 1809 it became a temporary cemetery, where the remains of at least 15,000 were buried. A defender of Zaragoza's sites, today it is a green space of more than 35,000 square meters that stretches parallel to the banks of the Ebro River.
