The Lucerne Culture and Congress Center is a new building designed by French architect Jean Nouvel. It was opened in 1998 with a concert by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. The center is located near Lake Lucerne. From the center's halls, you can enjoy stunning views of the Old Town and Lake Lucerne. The place includes an art museum, restaurants, a large concert hall in which many concerts are held regularly, and there is also a giant theater in which many events are held annually. The building is surrounded from the outside by water ponds and beautiful fountains.
