Montenegro Lovcen region is a national park located in the southwest of Montenegro, which is the place from which Montenegro derives its name, due to the dense vegetation cover that gives it black color, where the region is covered with juniper and wild olive trees, and these trees block sunlight, which It makes the area dark and appears black to the viewer from afar. The national park includes the top of the rocky mountain and covers an area of 62.20 square kilometers, and was declared a national park in 1952. The park is also classified as a protected historical, cultural and architectural heritage in the region.
