The small Guignol Museum is located in the old city of Lyon and has been in existence since 1995. The idea of this museum is to display the history of the Guignol doll and the wonderful French dolls and puppets. The Guinol Museum contains many dolls that were used in films in addition to ordinary dolls, and there is an audio explanation recorded in English dedicated to tourists from different regions. It is a really cool place and a must visit with your family or friends when you go to France to learn why and how these dolls are used.
