The Museum of Lithography has its origins in the ancient German lithography in Cadiz, which was installed in 1861 AD and functioned as a printing press until the end of the twentieth century. It is one of the few museums of this kind in Spain, as well as being the most complete. The museum contains an important collection consisting of more than a thousand lithographic stones, originating from Bavarian quarries, of high quality, and the museum also contains memories that are still repeated in the hands of skilled engravers and specialists.
