Hyeres salt marshes is a wetland of international importance, one of the most beautiful natural areas on the Var coast, and its importance lies in the development of biodiversity, providing a range of habitats that are home to more than 200 species of birds and 300 species of plants. This area also includes a center that allows visitors to discover the richness of the natural and cultural heritage of salt production on site through a range of temporary and permanent exhibits, bird models and other educational tools.
