This museum was previously a hideout for German soldiers who occupied the city for a period of time in the last century, and after the Germans left the city in 1945, the residents of La Rochelle discovered the cache, and found in it all the German holdings and made the place a museum so that the French would not forget the painful past. Among the exhibits in the museum there are clothes, weapons, documents, communication devices, and much more.
